I make $20k a month from photos on my camera roll – here's my hack anyone can do too

She is rolling in dough.

Jade, who runs @captured.by.jade on TikTok, revealed how iPhone camera rotation can help you earn over $20,000 a month.

“Your unorganized cam report can help you earn thousands and thousands of dollars in passive income,” Jade revealed in a clip.

In the 44-second video posted on June 22, the student explained how selling her personal images to stock photo companies helped her earn easy money.

“Businesses are always looking for this organic-looking content,” Jade said. “Even just iPhone photos for marketing or advertising.”

Jade confirmed that people looking to break into the industry don’t need a “fancy camera” or “expensive equipment” to present their candid photos.

Her “cheat code” encouraged many followers to catch the stock rush.

“I have 167,000 photos on my phone,” confessed one observer.

“75% of the 15,000 photos in my camera roll are screenshots. The other 25% are my bored dogs,” one joker added.

“I definitely need help paying for tuition! I really appreciate your posts and will try to follow this,” one person commented.

Jade also noted that she prefers to use Shutterstock and Adobe Stock to upload her photos, and it’s usually free to submit your raw images to most stock photography websites.

“Need more info please,” pleaded one TikTokker.

In a follow-up video uploaded on July 29, Jade discussed in depth how much money she makes from stock photography and her submission process.

Jade’s best-selling photo is a scenic view of Monterey, California. It has been downloaded over 4,000 times and raised over $26,000 over the past two years.

“While this was a beautiful photo, it was really the keywords and tagging that made this photo sellable,” she admitted.

The content creator spends 20 minutes making small edits to images, developing strategic keywords and tags. Her stock images are mostly travel and scenic photos; however, she mentioned other niches that perform well.

She has curated a series of videos and a tutorial teaching her followers how to get the most out of stock photography.

“When I tell you I have never bought anything so fast in my life! I have a ton of photos of travel hotels. That would be perfect! I’m sitting on a gold mine,” one person wrote.

“I take pictures all the time and I have beautiful ones. I have to do this!” commented another.
